i think you can use them for both , although previous owner used them as wall lights
this is the water lily design he made in 1970s
you almost never find these
both are similar but not exactly the same ,for example the back is slightly different and 1 you can take the flower out of the frame, the other one not
overall good vintage condition with wear consistent with age / usage, could use a good polishing
they are pretty large , 45 cm height and 39 cm wide so quite impressive
