Was given as present for a wedding of a couple with their initials on top / souvenir text and dated 1941
and carving very detailed with a hoof for a horse because they were in the horses business,
in that period that was for the wealthy in paris and you also see that if they put this craftmanship in a photo frame just to give as souvenir , you can imagine this was for a wealthy aristorcratic couple
( the pictures now inside are also old but the original ones as the previous owner wanted to remove them for privacy reasons )
