A top religious antique treasure

found on an italian top antique market last week

huge wood carved bust of a bishop , probably a known saint

polychrome finish over the wood, still in pretty good shape

oval opening with glass in pedestal to place relic

is probably late 18thc or begin 1800

with initials on the back

totally 82cm height and 41 cm wide

came from a collector in church antiques so a great opportunity to own such a treasure

( i also have another one of other saint bishop in same style )
